If you're visiting this webpage because you are engaged to be married, we would like to congratulate you! The process for celebrating a wedding at Sacred Heart includes a period of time for marriage preparation.

We ask that you contact the church at least six months prior to your preferred wedding date.  The first step for both of us is to reserve a date on the calendar.  We would be happy to walk with you through the marriage preparation process. Please call the Rectory office (985-632-3858) to schedule an appointment with the parish priest at least six months prior to the wedding date you are considering. 

Because of the penitential nature of Lent, we do not celebrate weddings from Ash Wednesday until after Easter Sunday.
